Mission statement
The Hand Eye Collective is a self-curating collective that explores making and practice.
The collective aims to build a network for makers and create forums for interdisciplinary practice, discussion and display. The Hand Eye Collective is particularly interested in fashion, art, film and visual culture. Research and practice around the visual and cultural aesthetics of a making-based practice may involve participative and non-participative observation. The collective uses an integrated framework of history, theory and practice to analyse objects, artefacts and other outcomes.
